About Ireland, St. Thomas, Maine Mulherins
My Gr Gr Gr Grandfather, Patrick J. Mulherin (Mulherrin) came to St. Thomas, N.B. Canada in 1840 according to the Canadian Census of 1851. Patrick was married to Eunice Joanne McCafferty and lived in St. Thomas, Carleton County and came from Donegal, Ireland together with their children: Cornelius, Martha and James who were all born in Ireland. Their siblings: Charles, Michael and Patrick, Jr. (my Gr Gr Grandfather) were all born in St. Thomas, N.B.

There is a misconception, that Patrick and Bridget O'Hara are in my direct line - this is not the case. I cannot substantiate this information. There has been some published mis-information and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me. If on the otherhand, you can prove to me that Bridge and Patrick are in this line, pleasa forward your information and I will be happy to update my records. There was a Patrick Mulherin who sailed on the Breeze to St. John. This Patrick arrived later than my GGG Grandfather and was a few years older. I mention this only because of the many Patricks who existed at that time.

The Lowell line can be traced to James Russell Lowell, the poet and his Lowell line in Massachusetts. This info as of this date is not on this site. IF you wish to ask questions, please email me for what I have.

I have another website with additional information on my family along with poetry and short stories it is: http://www.geocities.com/geneajunkie please feel free to browse this site as well.

If you note obvious errors that my proofreading did not, please let me know and if we are related or have similar lines - I would love to chat you.
